Official checklist of birds in Mead Garden

The NEW official bird checklist for Mead Garden will be presented to the Winter Park City Commission by the team of bird watchers who produced this exceptional piece or work. Please come and cheer this achievement, and pick up a copy at the City Commission Chambers, Monday at 3:30 pm.

For five years these dedicated birders have led monthly surveys of birds in Mead Garden... photographing, counting and recording where, when and what they saw in the garden. They have compiled and printed this comprehensive information in a checklist they are now making available to all. They have printed 1,000 available beginning Monday afternoon, and you can also download it from this website. You can even choose your cover photo, an elegant Piliated Woodpecker, or Bard Owl and baby owl.
