Parking in the Garden is limited. Additional parking is available at St. John's Lutheran Church at the corner of US Hwy 17-92 and Garden Ave. Shuttle service between St. John's and the Garden is generously provided by Park, Bark and Fly.
Mead Garden thanks the Duck Derby sponsors who make the day possible. We also thank the many, many volunteers who help organize and run the event activities! Special kudos to MC Frank Hamner, who calls the races and shamelessly shares the best duck jokes ever. We also welcome this year's special guest, Orlando Sentinel columnist Scott Maxwell, a big Duck Derby and Mead Garden fan.
Volunteer opportunities are still available. Community service certificates are awarded to students. If you would like to help make this the best Duck Derby ever, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Proceeds from the derby support youth nature programming at Mead Botanical Garden including Mead's Young Naturalist Summer Day Camp.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Click here for more information.
