Wild For Biology
Wild for Biology offers high school students extraordinary and engaging science experience. Alligned with the STEM curriculum currently in the news, it is led by the Youth Education Alliance in Mead Botanical Garden.
These one-week camps introduce course work and experiments for biology, with hands-on, lab-based learning using the natural resources in the various ecosystems in the garden. This is a great program for students wanting a head start, or for those considering a career in the life sciences. For more details or to register, visit the YEA website. One-week sessions are offerend during the following weeks:
- Jun 11-15
- Jun 18-22
- Jun 25-29
- Jul 9-13
- Aug 6-10
Camps run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Before and after care will be available at an additional cost.
